Windcheetah SportCompact ?

Date: May 22, 2012 08:18PM Hi,
I was just reading some old Velovision back issues and read in the June 2008 a review of a pre-production SportCompact (20/16 wheels). Does anyone know if any made it off the production line as Google reveals nothing, and the AVD website is stuck in a 2009 timewarp :-) TIA, Simon (cross posted here: [www.british-human-power.com]) Re: Windcheetah SportCompact ?

Date: May 22, 2012 08:47PM Pretty sure it did - ISTR hearing from someone in Japan with one.
Also, this may be of interest :-) [www.velovision.com] -- Peter Eland - Velo Vision publisher Re: Windcheetah SportCompact ?

> Also, this may be of interest :-) Yes: I saw the ad, but it looked a little unexpected, eg that it was 406 all-round. And of course I wondered how the price compared with new !! Re: Windcheetah SportCompact ?

Date: May 23, 2012 07:48PM I'm pretty sure it didn't make it into production. The prototype was sold by Bob Dixon on eBay as an aborted project. Re: Windcheetah SportCompact ?

Date: May 27, 2012 11:28PM I'm happy to inform you that the compact is still very alive and in current production, most of which go to the States and
Australia. There is a thread over on Bent rider on line covering the same topic If you have any further question please contact me Kind regards Karl Karl@windcheetah.co.uk Re: Windcheetah SportCompact ?

Date: May 29, 2012 12:29PM Yes, there's been a deafening silence about Windcheetahs, to the extent that most people think they're no longer made. It might be an idea to update the website? ***** [www.kinetics-online.co.uk] Re: Windcheetah SportCompact ?
