windcheetah & car fitting
Posted by: spennie (IP Logged)
Date: March 07, 2010 08:44PM Could someone tell me, if it is difficult to get a wind cheetah into the back of a car. I have a 06 vauxhall astra and was wondering if one would fit in easily or not. Re: windcheetah & car fitting

Date: March 07, 2010 09:05PM I had a friend who transported his Trice Explorer inside his Fiat Cinqacento...
He did leave the passenger seat at home though. Re: windcheetah & car fitting

Date: March 07, 2010 09:39PM I can get either of mine unfolded in the case of the QNT into the back of my Auris. If need be removing a wheel will do it for you but it should be OK with the back seats flat and the front passenger seat forward. Date: March 08, 2010 10:03PM I knew someone (now deceased) who had a Windcheetah - at first he carried it on a towbar-bll mounted rack (he was good at (aking things- he made the rack himeself) but when he got his next car, an estate 9but I cannot recall the make) he cut the top off the seat (about 6 inches- the bit with the head rest) so it would fit in the back.

Date: March 09, 2010 05:29PM The guy who bought my trice picked it up in an astra. It went in easily enough with the rear wheel removed and the back end folded under. A windcheetah might *just* fit witht he rear wheel removed. Re: windcheetah & car fitting

Date: March 09, 2010 06:11PM Removing the seat might be enough too. For me the height of the Kettwiesel seat or the height of the QNT headrest would be the limiting factors in a lower roofed car. Length wise they both go in, albeit a bit on the tight side.
