Date: April 30, 2010 07:00AM Yo, cycling along noticed 2 pairs of swallows on Sunday 25th of April and a lone one on Wednesday. These are the first I've seen this year in South Derbyshire.
I remember noisy flocks of them as a kid. Ayone else spotted 'em yet? Re: Swallows count

Date: April 30, 2010 01:59PM I do a Breeding Bird Survey for the British Trust for Ornithology. Last Wednesday we were surveying up the Glen above Moniaive, SW Scotland and saw several pairs. The first this year. It really felt like spring had come. Re: Swallows count
