Workbikes in York

I may have asked this here already, but does anyone know where I could rent or borrow a work bike in York? I'll be staying in Acomb area during August and I'd like something for general transport locally.

... probably simplest just to buy a bike from them and donate it back when you go.

You might be in luck and find they have some sort of workbike in stock. If not then they will have plenty of practical bikes which you won't worry about locking up outside shops/pubs.
