Sold: Windcheetah trike

I'm offering my Windcheetah trike for sale. Frame is medium-long, good for 32-33" inside leg or so.

It has 24 gears with XT/XTR derailleurs, Ultegra levers, 175mm Middleburn cranks. It has the original luggage rack and rack bag. The seat has a Ventisit cushion supplied by Laid Back Bikes, and there's a spare seat with the full sides. There are also two bottle cages and a flag. The drum brakes have plenty of power.

Asking 900 GBP.

Andy, yes it's still available, and located in Edinburgh. It's currently set up for riders with about a 32" inside leg, and the seat can move back a couple of inches (per the pics).

I'm in Edinburgh and looking for a trike. I've ridden a Windcheetah but the leg length was all wrong. I'm inside leg 33"

Any chance of a test ride?

When was the trike built, by the way?

Thank you

Keith, the trike was built on Bob Dixon's kitchen table in 1994.

The bucket seat gives some latitude in fine-tuning your fore-aft position without having to move the seat along the chassis. As currently set up it's probably not too far off for your leg length. I'm happy for you to try the trike - send me a PM.

Hi
my inside leg is about 36 inches - would any adjustments make it fit ??
Looks like the boom is not adjustable-so I guess its just the seat.
I would add that I tend to ride my other recumbents with an almost fully extended leg - so woudn't want to feel cramped!

I also live just south of Edinburgh,so if it was a possibility I could try it out

regards

john

Hi John, I have a feeling you might be too tall! But it depends what shape of seat you like underneath you - if you'd like a sit on it to find out, let me know by PM.
