I am interested in buying a second hand Windcheetah. I live in Argentina but I will be in London in January 2009. I'm thinking about buying the machine then and transporting it back to my country.

Mine (no. 202) is still for sale.

Built in 1994 by Bob Dixon in his garage;
Medium frame is good for up to 43 inch ex-seam;
17" front wheels, 26" rear;
XTR mechs, XT 11-30 cassette, Middleburn chainset 28/40/52;
carbon/kevlar seat (plus spare seat);
custom single and original two-pannier racks;
flag and reflectives;
original rack bag;
two bottle cages on carbon mounts.

I'm looking for around ?1000 to help fund my new bike. I'm in Edinburgh.

Hi Arelicat, Do you still have a Windcheetah available for sale in Edinburgh? What exactly is the 43'' measurement you give - I'm 6' 4'' with a 34'' inside leg trouser measurement. Would your bike be likely to fit? Cheers Pete

Pete, rather than inside leg length, I use the ex-seam measurement suggested by Lightning:

Mine is a bit over 45 inches, which is why I've suggested my Windcheetah is more suited to someone with slightly shorter legs, otherwise the rider needs to sit on a less horizontal part of the seat.
