Wanted - Grasshopper fx

I am kind of looking for a Grasshopper fx for a possible summer tour. I say possible as work etc may get in the way, so I am just sort of seeing if is anyone thinking of selling theirs at the moment.

I had a standard GH but had to sell but think the folding one would be more useful. I will also consider non-folding though.

I have seen Mike's add in the forum but I can't go to that high a price. I am not really bothered about the age as long as it works well.

Let me know if you are selling.

Cheers

I'm also after one. Mike's was a decent price for such a high spec, and I was happy to pay it, but someone local to him beat me to it. I was gutted!

The buyer of Mike's grasshopper didn't get on with it, which was a shame for him, but great for me as it's now mine!

To say that I'm excited is an understatement. I'm pretty sure I'll love it and that my HP Velotechnik Spirit might soon be for sale on here.

The ebay one went for ?850, which is a really good price. Not the fx, so not what I wanted, but a real bargain IMO.

Yes a really good price. I sent the seller a couple of messages but got no reply until after the end of the auction so I didn't bid. I was worried that it wouldn't fit into a cardboard box as I need to take it in a plane.

So I'm still looking people, I am now really after an fx.

I assume you've seen the fx that's on ebay now? I'm not sure about USS, but I've never tried it. Should make navigating the chicanes and barriers on bike paths a bit easier!

It went for <?1200 and I hope SWMBO doesn't notice! OK, so no hydraulic disks, USS, no DualDrive, no low-rider racks, no water bottle carriers, no headrest, but still makes the ?1800 I paid seem a bit steep.

Still, no regrets, my grasshopper is a total blast.
