The magazine is available to buy, both in print and online as a digital edition. Here are some free samples to whet your appetite.
The print magazine is full colour, 68-page quarterly, with reviews, features, reader reports and more, with limited advertising at the back. We aim for clean design, sharp photography and informative writing.

The digital edition replicates the exact layout of the paper magazine – but adds clickable internet links and offers full text search facilities. An online subscription also allows you access to the full archive of back issues right back to Issue 1! Delivered via our colleagues at Exact Editions, it is viewable via just about any device and gets you the earliest access to new issues. You can also save every mag as a high-resolution PDF for offline viewing.

Reviews: We usually have three or four full reviews each issue, covering interesting, quality bikes. There are also several shorter reviews of components or accessories each issue, too. See the reviews index. Bike reviews are usually a full four pages or more, allowing us room to really delve into the detail and to provide a thorough assessment. Try these PDF samples:

Show reports: Our show reports are the best in the business, capturing all of the real innovations and interesting ideas from the major trade shows.

Bicycle design: We’re proud to be the outstanding international forum for innovative ideas in cycling, with almost every issue containing fresh new designs, home-built inventions and adaptations. Some practical, some just for fun, but all presented non-judgementally and professionally.

Practical cycling: We’re all about cycling for transport and touring – not racing. So we don’t cover MTBs and road bikes much, and our models tend to be wearing ‘normal’ clothing rather than brand-new cycling gear. Instead we pass on real-world practical cycling experience:

Features: Lest this all seem a bit mundane, we have regular features about practical cycling in the most extraordinary circumstances, thanks to our wonderful correspondents from around the world.

By cyclists for cyclists: Velo Vision is an independent, enthusiast publication produced by a small group of committed everyday cyclists, every one of whom is a campaigner for cycling in their own way. With the much appreciated contributions from friends and readers worldwide, together we make Velo Vision unique, collectable and so readable!
