Velo Vision guided tour

What is Velo Vision?

It's a magazine covering bikes for transport and touring, innovative cycle design and bike culture everywhere. It's been running since late 2000 and has readers all over the world. It's currently published around three times a year.

We cover all sorts of bikes and cycling aside from racing and MTBs, and this remit covers both the wonderful diamond-frame bike in all its forms (hub gear city bikes, tough tourers, versatile longtails, togetherly tandems and more...) as well as more specialised designs such as folding bikes, family cycling products, load-carrying cycles and trailers, recumbents, special needs cycles for all abilities, unicycles and even the odd pedal-powered boat!

The magazine is available both in print and online as a digital edition:

Issue 23 The print magazine is full colour, full size 68-page quarterly, with reviews, features, reader reports and more, with limited advertising at the back. We aim for clean design, sharp photography and informative writing.

Digital Edition The digital edition replicates the exact layout of the paper magazine - but adds clickable internet links and offers full text search facilities. An online subscription also allows you access to the full archive of back issues all the way to Issue 1. The digital edition is delivered via our colleagues at Exact Editions, and it is viewable via just about any modern web browser. You can also save issues as PDF for offline viewing, and access the full magazine content through many mobile devices via the free 'Exactly' app.

Trice QNT Reviews: We usually have three or four full reviews each issue, covering interesting, quality bikes which we think may be useful to readers. There are also several shorter reviews of components or accessories each issue, too. See the reviews index. Bike reviews are usually a full four pages or more, allowing us room to really delve into the detail and to provide a thorough assessment.

Map Bicycle design: We're proud to be the outstanding international forum for innovative ideas in cycling, with almost every issue containing fresh new designs, home-built inventions and adaptations. Some practical, some just for fun, but all presented non-judgementally and professionally.

Bikebins Practical cycling: We're all about cycling for transport and touring - not racing. So we don't cover MTBs and road bikes much, and our models tend to be wearing 'normal' clothing rather than brand-new cycling gear. Instead we pass on real-world practical cycling experience:
