Christmas closing
We're now closed for the Christmas break - we'll re-open on the 2nd January. Please feel free to continue to place orders via the online shop but please note we won't be able to process any orders until the new year. Merry Christmas to all of our readers, and here's to happy electric cycling in 2012!
Pumphaus fest
Leicester organisation Cyclemagic have posted details of their latest festival on Facebook. 'Pumphaus Fest' will be music and cycling, and they say "The festival will be the first in Europe to be almost entirely pedal powered, including the music stages and cinema. Where pedal power is not viable we will endeavour to use either solar or other renewable energy.". I'm possibly missing it but I can't see a date - to be confirmed.
Terracycle and Velogenesis
Terracycle, the recumbent parts and accessory makers, have taken over Velogenesis, who make some very nice related items, as the Recumbent Blog reports.
Cracknell goes three wheeles
After his nasty accident, rower turned celebrity James Cracknell is now riding a trike, as Velorution reports.
"Cyclemagic have posted details of their latest festival on Facebook,"
doesnt work.

It seems to have been removed - but this earlier posting remains, suggesting a late May date:
"New Pedal Powered Festival for Leicester.
Cyclemagic is working with local music promoters AMP on a brand new festival. The event will feature music and comedy on pedal powered stages plus a cycle powered cinema, local artists and the very best food and drink we can find.
Cyclemagic will of course be providing an eclectic range of cycling activities for people to try and arranging bike rides around the Leicestershire countryside.
The as yet unnamed festival will take place at Leicester’s Abbey Pumping Station Museum over the weekend of May 25/26/27. On site camping will be available.
More details and a web site will be available soon but in the meantime keep checking the Cyclemagic Facebook pages."
