ICE officially release 2012 range

New versions for Sprint and Adventure, and a revamped Vortex... and a new website too!

Posted by Peter Eland on Monday 16 Jan 2012

Cornwall-based trike makers Inspired Cycle Engineering have announced their 2012 line-up - we already had the odd hint in various trade show reports, as reported in Issue 42 of Velo Vision, but now it's official.

The main news is: (with italic quotes from ICE):

ICE trike
- The Adventure, which is ICE's more upright touring model, is now also available as a heavy duty version:
"All Adventure models are now available as an HD (Heavy Duty) option, giving a sturdier frame, wider seat and increased cockpit space, making the HD ideal for the larger or taller rider."

ICE trike
- The Sprint, the all-rounder, now has a more sporty variant available:
"All Sprint models are now available with an X-type upgrade, giving race-specification components for those demanding speed performance with the convenience of a folding frame."

ICE trike
- And the Vortex, the sport and speed-oriented model, now has a higher-specification, even lighter alternative, the Vortex+.

Full details, pictures and videos are on the new icetrikes.co website, which displays appropriate prices for UK, Europe and USA visitors (click the flags top right).

We'll be reviewing a 2012 trike in due course!

Another very nice presentation from ICE. Good for whole industry I think.

Scenery... tick

Trikes... tick

Soundtrack... tick

May be keen to get a Sprint X in next VV on way to becoming a demo here. York is about halfway to Edinburgh and always nice to visit.
