New recumbent tandems coming up from the Netherlands...

An in-line, separable machine from Nazca is teased, and ACE show their back-to-back...

Hot on the heels of the launch of the oVo tandem as reviewed last issue, news reaches us of two more production (or soon to be produced) tandems from the Netherlands.

A Dutch trade show report (Google translated) reveals that Nazca and ACE were both showing new models, both of which apparently separate for transport.

The ACE tandem (Google translation)is a back-to-back, Rohloff-equipped machine built to order from 5500 Euros.

There's just teaser information about the Nazca so far, with a small picture on the Nazca homepage:

We'll watch with interest for further details! Nazca have a UK distributor in the form of Laid Back Bikes of Edinburgh so one might just reach these shores...

Of course let's not forget that Altena Bike from the Netherlands also make fine recumbent tandems, both inline and back to back!

That would be a good touring tandem cos if could have two pannier carriers in the middle.
